We are saddened with the loss of one of our very long-time trustees Kenny P. Graves. Kenny served on the trustees for over 40-years and held several positions as a trustee. Kenny was extremely dedicated and was able to accomplish many significant needs for the Cemetery including heading up a complete survey for the Cemetery and getting the family plots in order. Kenny spent many hours at the Cemetery assisting with the inmates, bringing them food, and marking off plots in his most recent role as the Cemetery Sexton. Kenny will truly be missed but always remembered for his commitment to the Graves Cemetery.
Jimmy Graves was voted in by the trustees to take Kenny’s place. Jimmy will serve as the primary Sexton for the Cemetery. If anyone has questions about family or individual plots should seek out Jimmy for assistance. Jimmy has already made additional copies of the plat and is quickly getting up to speed with the current layout. Please welcome Jimmy to the trustees.
